So apparently (liberal) Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has ties to the National Organization for Women. She's done speaking gigs for them before. This should be no shock, since it's widely known that women's issues are her main focus.

But now some conservatives are calling for Ginsburg to recuse herself from all cases involving abortion because she's got ties to NOW. I'm sure it's a co-incedence that the GOP is ramping up its quest to stamp out abortion, and having Ginsburg recused would make a repeal of Roe v Wade almost certain.

Of course it's perfectly fine for Justice Scalia to go duck hunting with Dick Cheney and still be on the bench for the case the Sierra Club brought against him to open his secret energy meetings.

Nope, no double standard there at all.

Quick note to the violently anti-Union right wingers who think unions just steal your money and offer nothing in return:

You can write off your union dues.

Yes that's right, the right wing's favorite anti-Union canard (BUT THEY FORCE YOU TO JOIN, AND THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY~!) is BS, just like so many other talking points they spew with no factual basis.

More later, stay tuned.
